Welcome to Orange Crew

Overview

High-rise cleanouts across the Loop

Downtown work is its own thing: freight elevators, dock windows, and a certificate of insurance on file before you get through the door. We do this daily across the Loop, River North, Streeterville, the West Loop, the South Loop and Fulton Market. Condo cleanouts, office decommissions, post-move debris — coordinated with building management, not against it.

Junk Removal Service In Downtown Chicago

Junk Removal Service

Downtown, the building sets the timetable, not the truck. Before a crew can start, management usually wants a certificate of insurance on file, the freight elevator reserved, and a dock slot that lines up with it. We handle that paperwork ourselves. What we need from you is the building address, the unit, the floor, and a property manager to contact.

Nothing goes out of a tower whole and straight to landfill. Electronics go to a certified e-waste recycler, scrap metal is separated, and furniture still worth using goes to donation partners. Office decommissions are the clearest case: desks, task chairs, and monitors leaving a floor in bulk are worth far more sorted than tipped.

Whether it’s a hot tub removal, routine garbage collection, or a full property cleanout, professional junk removal services helps maintain cleaner homes, safer workspaces, and environmentally conscious communities. What leaves a downtown building

The State Street office is a short run to most of the Loop and River North, so the drive is rarely the constraint. What decides the day is whether the freight elevator and the dock are free at the same time. How it works.

Separating the load keeps reusable furniture and electronics out of the waste stream.

Junk removal in the Loop and River North

Send the building address, unit, and floor by form, phone, or text with photos.

Book online with the building address, unit number, and floor. Add the property manager’s contact if you have it — most downtown buildings want a certificate of insurance from us on file before we are allowed on the dock, and we can send that directly.

Call (888) 308-7556. Downtown jobs usually have a few moving parts — dock hours, elevator reservations, insurance paperwork — and those are quicker to sort out on a call than through a form.

Send photos by text and we will price off them. Useful downtown, where a walkthrough is rarely practical and you may be booking a cleanout for a unit you are not standing in.

There are no garages or yards in this work. It is condo and apartment clearances, tenant move-outs against a lease date, renovation debris carried down in a protected elevator, and office decommissions when a firm leaves a floor. Mattresses, sofas, desks, and appliances are the everyday items, and every one of them leaves through the freight cab.

A single mattress out of a studio through to a full floor decommission, with the building access arranged either way.

Questions we get from downtown residents and building managers

How far ahead do I need to book?

Same-day is possible downtown, but building access is usually the limiting factor rather than our schedule. Most Loop and River North buildings need a freight elevator reserved and a dock window booked in advance, which management often wants 24 to 48 hours ahead.

For this office: the Loop, River North, Streeterville, the Gold Coast, the West Loop and Fulton Market, and the South Loop down to Roosevelt. Those share the same conditions, which is what actually matters here, since a high-rise off Wacker and one off Wells are the same job in practice. Addresses outside that ring go to another branch. The service locations page shows the full map.

Downtown pickups are mostly high-rise work. The crew checks in with the front desk, uses the freight elevator, and loads from the dock rather than the street. Furniture, mattresses, appliances and moving debris all go out the same way, with items separated for recycling or donation on the truck.

By volume, quoted before we start, same as anywhere else. The difference downtown is that the building shapes the labor rather than the distance: a reserved freight elevator with a dock at the bottom is quick, while a two-hour window shared with a move-in, or a long push from the freight lobby to the dock, is not. Give us the building at booking and that is priced in. See the pricing page.

Paint, solvents, adhesives, aerosols, batteries, propane, asbestos, and medical waste. Downtown the usual one is leftover paint and adhesive from a unit renovation, which a contractor is required to deal with separately. The City of Chicago runs a household chemical and computer recycling facility for residents. Propane tanks are worth mentioning twice, because most condo boards ban them from balconies and units in the first place.

We bring dollies, straps, blankets and floor protection. Nothing needs renting on your end. For high-rise moves that also means masonite or ram board where the building requires the elevator lobby and corridors protected.

Sometimes not, and it is better to know before the day. Freight cabs in older Loop and River North buildings are narrower and shorter than people expect, and a large sectional or a long dining table occasionally has to be taken apart or cut down to leave. Stairs are not a realistic alternative above a few floors. Send a photo of the piece and tell us the building, and we will say which it is going to be.

Yes. Give us the building name and management contact when you book and we will send the COI over ahead of the job. Most Loop and River North buildings will not release the dock without one.

Yes — that is standard downtown. Tell us the reserved window and we will schedule the crew to it. If the building has not been booked yet, we can usually arrange it with management.

Yes. Workstations, chairs, filing cabinets and IT equipment. These usually run after business hours because of dock and elevator restrictions, which we plan for in the quote.

Condo, apartment, and office clearances across the Loop, River North, Streeterville, the West Loop, and the South Loop. Tell us the building at booking and we will check its access rules before quoting a window, rather than finding out at the dock.
